7th World Punjabi Conference in Vancouver, Canada in 2003.
The following points were resolved in this conference.
– Punjabis who were born and grown up in Canada but their first language is English, whereas it should be Punjabi.
– That the teachers who speak Punjabi should be given periodic orientation in changing perspectives of contemporary Punjabi literature.
– Punjabi should be taught at the primary level and above in Pakistan and it should be given its due status.
